The ABD today recognised the huge success of Reform.Β Whilst we are non political, Reform is one of the few parties with policies that appear to recognise the importance of our road system and drivers.
ABD policy director, Brian Gregory said:
“Now is Reform’s chance to show the party is serious about change.
Elected Councillors and Mayors should immediately prioritise removal of Low Traffic Neighbourhoods, emissions based parking schemes and low emissions zone charging, together with the removal of most 24-hour, wide area, blanket 20 mph limits alongside a return to the sensible setting of speed limits.Β
We also welcome the stated desire to reverse measures aimed at furthering the Net Zero agenda which is imposing financial and other costs on drivers and the population as a whole.
They have stated their intention to become a party of government. That being the case, we would support visible and quick policy implementation, in line with the the above goals.
We are willing to provide input and support to any political party which is genuinely interested in supporting the silent majority of drivers, who are voters too.”
